Get your pup’s attention and take 1 step forward, then give them a treat. Repeat but this time take 2 steps before you give them a treat. Then 3 steps, then 4, etc. If the lead goes tight at any point, wait for your pup to come back to position, then repeat but starting at the number you were up to minus 5. See how many steps you can get up to without the lead going tight!
