Barking at you

When your pup barks at you, completely ignore them. Shouting at them to stop​, asking for different behaviours, ​will reinforce the behaviour as it will give them the attention they are seeking. Don’t look at them or acknowledge the barking, just carry on with what you are doing. ​Make sure that you respond to attention seeking cues that you like, such as sitting looking at you​, with attention so that they learn that this is the best way to get attention rather than barking.
