Contented separation – routine prior to leaving

  1. Get all your things ready that you’ll need and put it by the door for when you want to leave
  2. Physical exercise for your pup e.g., a walk or playing ball
  3. Mental exercise for your pup e.g., scatterfeeding, a chew, a puzzle feeder, or a filled kong
  4. 15 minutes of quiet chill time (with strokes when possible)
  5. Calmly head out of the door
