Focus – eye contact
Drop the treat game: Drop a treat at your feet, when your puppy looks up towards you and makes eye contact, drop another treat. Repeat. They are learning that looking at you means that good things happen – key for all future training. If they give you eye contact at anytime during the day say “Good” and give them a treat, not just during training sessions, this will build engagement with you.
