Barking at you
When your pup barks at you, completely ignore them. Shouting at them to stop, asking for different behaviours, will reinforce the behaviour as it will give them the attention they are seeking. Don’t look at them or acknowledge the barking, just carry on with what you are doing. Make sure that you respond to attention seeking cues that you like, such as sitting looking at you, with attention so that they learn that this is the best way to get attention rather than barking.
