You have started dreading walks. You leave the house scanning the road ahead, you know which lanes are empty at 6am, and the moment a lead appears round the corner your stomach drops. Your dog barks, lunges and screams — and you are left apologising to a stranger, again.

None of that means you have a bad dog, or that you are doing a bad job. Reactivity is a feelings problem before it is a behaviour problem, and it responds well to the right plan worked through patiently. Barky to Brilliant in 90 Days gives you that plan, plus 90 days of guided support while you put it into practice.

Who this is for

  • Your dog barks, lunges, freezes or spins at other dogs, people, traffic or bikes
  • You have read everything, tried a bit of everything, and nothing has stuck
  • You want to understand why your dog does this, not just be handed a technique
  • You would like expert eyes on your training without committing to a full one-to-one behaviour package

What you get for your 90 days

  • Full access to our online courses, laid out in order so you always know what to do next
  • Short video tips you can watch on your phone before you head out
  • Live calls where you can ask about your dog, your street and the week you have actually had
  • Feedback and support — bring a question or a training clip and get a considered, individual answer
  • A community of owners doing exactly the same work, which is the part people tell us they needed most

Access is immediate and everything is online, so you can start this evening and train at whatever time of day your neighbourhood is quietest.

What changes

Ninety days is long enough to see real change and short enough to stay focused. Most of that change is unglamorous and enormously freeing:

  • You spot the trigger early, so you are managing the situation rather than reacting to it
  • Your dog recovers faster after a scare, and starts checking in with you instead of fixating
  • Walks stop being a risk assessment and go back to being a walk
  • You stop feeling like the only person on the street with a dog like yours

Who this is not for

We would rather you spent your money well. This is not the right starting point if your dog has bitten a person, or if the behaviour has appeared suddenly or is escalating quickly. Those situations need a proper one-to-one behaviour assessment — book a discovery call instead and we will point you the right way. It is also worth ruling out physical causes first, because pain and discomfort sit behind a surprising number of behaviour changes.

Questions people ask

How quickly will I see a difference? Small differences — quicker recovery, a bit more slack in the lead, a dog who looks back at you — often show up in the first few weeks. Changing how your dog feels about other dogs takes longer, and that is the work the 90 days is built around.

What if it is not right for us? Cancel within the first 7 days and we will refund you in full, no awkward questions.

Do I need special equipment? No. A well-fitted harness, a longer lead and treats your dog genuinely loves will cover almost everything. Our Training Starter Kit is a shortcut if you would like one, not a requirement.

My dog reacts to people, not dogs. Is it still relevant? Yes. The approach is about changing how your dog feels about whatever worries them, so it applies just as well to dogs who are frightened of people, traffic or bikes.

Is my dog too old, or too far gone? Almost certainly not. Adolescent dogs and long-standing reactivity both respond to this work, and older dogs sometimes progress faster because they are less easily wound up.
